Our Build Process

CUSTOM BUILT TO FIT YOUR NEEDS

STEP 1:
CONSULTATION

This can be done as formally or informally as you would like. This is where you work with one of our team members, either virtually or in person, to discuss the details of your project. Our goal here is to learn the necessities of your build so we can begin getting estimates from our vendors and get to working on your floor plan. If this initial meeting was not at the build site, we get a site visit scheduled to shoot grading on the property.

Once we have established the wants and needs of your project and have done a site visit, it takes us about a week to provide you with a quote. The quote can be sent to you via email, or we can schedule a meeting with one of our team members to go over all of the details with you.

Once we have finalized a floor plan, have aligned the necessities of your build with your budget and you have chosen to work with us we are ready to have you sign a contract. At this point if you do not already have funding in place, we can assist with financing options. For barndominiums, we work with Amarillo National Bank. Deposit schedule varies depending upon method of payment.

 

If self funding, we require a 50% deposit at the signing of a contract. A 25% draw is taken after concrete is poured, and the final 25% is collected upon completion of the project.

 

If financing is used, funding schedules vary from one financial institution to the next.

STEP 4:
FUNDING

SITE PREP/CONCRETE

This is the exciting part! If any land clearing is necessary, it happens now. If you need a water well or septic system, we get to work on it. Once the land is prepped, the dirt pad is constructed. After the dirt pad, forms for concrete are set, rough-in plumbing completed, and then concrete is poured!

Outer shell of home or shop is constructed. Our guys are quick and efficient. This process normally takes 7-10 days under perfect circumstances.

BUILDING IS

INTERIOR

This consists of framing, electrical, spray foam, sheet rock, trim work, painting, cabinets, countertops, flooring, tile shower, fireplace, top out plumbing, and any special requirements of your custom build! This process is lengthy, and can take anywhere from 6 to 12 months depending upon the size and detail of the project.

At the end of the build, you do a final walk through with one of our project managers. This is where we work together to make a punch list of any small items that may required further attention.

As soon as we establish a punch list, we get our crews to work on the list and the final grading.
